I'm always looking for good carne guisada and this place definitely hits the spot for it. It's flavorful and I can tell they use a good roast for the meat because it's also very tender. I was surprised that the red salsa is hotter than either of the green salsas, because at most restaurants the green is the hotter salsa. They're all really good tho, I put a little of each on my tacos. I've also had the tacos with eggs and I love that they're not overcooked, and the bacon is big pieces mixed in. It's always the hole in the wall places like this that are the best honestly, skip the other two restaurants nearby and come here instead because it's definitely the best out of the three off this part of South Flores. I paid under $12 for two carne guisada and two potato egg and cheese tacos, so the prices are the best too!
Food is delicious! Beans are on point. Carne guisada has lots of flavor. Coffee is strong the way I like it and the girls are super friendly. This is my new Saturday spot!
Big tacos and nice tortillas. But, pretty disappointed in my order. Chicken fajitas had little flavor and the meat was hard to chew. Big pieces of chicken coming off with each bite. Beef fajitas also minimal flavor. Carne guisada was the best of the tacos I tried today. Prices were right. $11 before tax/ tip for 3 tacos.
